The Online Song Contest organised by the Writers’ Guild of the Sinhalese Cultural Forum is now taking place in full swing. 25 very high-quality songs were selected by a panel of selectors and these songs are now playing on YouTube. These songs were the own creations by Sydney Artists, Song Writers and Composers.
The Contest began on the 1st of December 2021 and these songs will be played on YouTube until 31 January 2022.
From the start of the competition, within a period of 2 weeks so far, over 20,000 people have listened to these songs and over 2000 likes were registered. This is a very popular contest.
Winning the contest is based on the YouTube View Count and the number of Likes for each song.
So, You are selecting the winners.
On March 05th 2022 the winners will be recognised in a Gala Award Ceremony. You will get more details about this Ceremony in due course.
