Lawrencege Manamali is a comedy written by Hemantha Prasad and directed by Sujeewa Priyal. Co-produced by Praveen Kulasinghe and Janaka Siriwardena, the play features artists Dulika Marapane, Sampath Jayaweera, Mali Jayaweerage, Sujeewa Priyal Yaddehige and Hemantha Prasad. Pradeep Jayathilake has orchestrated the music for Lawrencege Manamali.
Unlike the usual comedy dramas, Sujeewa Priyal has employed a different style that carries vivid expressions and a captivating, diverse dialogue. Themed as a comical wedding act, Dulika Marapane plays the role of the bride and her co-artists join to deliver this amazing act. This play combines modern ideas and colourful thoughts to cheer up the audience. The combined act of the artists makes the play very engaging and enjoyable.
